OFFICE ATTENDANT
Summary of Position:
The Office Attendant is responsible for the distribution and collection of mail, claims, packages, and official documents, while also supporting basic inventory management and general office operations. This role contributes directly to the efficient functioning of the organisation and requires integrity, dependability, and strong organisational skills.
Accountabilities:
Deliver and collect mails, claims, packages, and other official documents on behalf of the Credit
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Secondary Level Education Certificate or its equivalent, with a pass in English Language.
Ensure all outgoing correspondence is properly recorded and that delivered items are
acknowledged by signature;
Clear the mailbox daily and ensure timely distribution of incoming mail;
Oversee the cleanliness of the kitchen and restrooms and replenish consumable supplies as
needed;
Prepare the Conference Room for meetings and ensure it is restored to a tidy condition after use;
Assist with simple clerical duties when directed;
Maintain and manage office inventory and assists with office errands.
Experience: No prior experience required; possession of a valid Class C Driver's License and 2 - 5 years driving experience would be an asset.
Skills: Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality. Strong planning, organisational, and timemanagement skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective oral and written communication skills. Strong directional skills and physical ability to lift boxes and other moderately heavy items.
General: A proactive, people-centric approach to service.
